Hello, friend!
I created this guide because I saw a lack of love for our friendly neighborhood pantsers on the Internet!
As a former pantser, having something like this back in 2016 (my first attempt at NaNoWriMo) would have helped keep my poor manuscript in
salvageable condition.
That year, I wrote 56,000 words. After November ended and the fog in my eyes cleared, I scrapped every word of that draft. I have no regrets. I had
about 35 first chapters of a high school new adult contemporary romance revolving around six first-person narrators.
It. Was. A. Nightmare.
My hope is that by you downloading this, you will be able to have a designated place for when you’re panicking because you still need to write
20k in two days, or if your laptop imploded, and now your draft is gone midway through the month. Of course, you could always have this on hand
when things are groovy, too.
