However, this doesn’t mean you should take your sweet time. Work hard to perfect your application as soon as possible. The earlier you submit your application the better your chances will be of getting in. Here’s why:

The last thing you want on your application is a spelling error or worse—an unanswered question! The best way to avoid big mistakes is to print and review your application before submitting it. Follow these steps:

4.Make It Flow
What does it mean to make your application flow? It means making sure all the information makes sense. These are some good examples:

If you say you love writing, make sure you write a good essay and avoid spelling errors anywhere on your application
If you want to major in computer science or engineering, make sure you’ve taken all the math and science courses you need
If you mention you’re a hard worker, make sure you have lots of extracurriculars to show for it

5.Do It Yourself
It’s okay to get help from parents, teachers, counselors, and
out the application and answers all the questions. Especially the
YOU are. They want to hear YOUR voice. It’s very easy to tell the difference between a 17-year-old and an adult.
