Dont Be afraid to get close to your subject in some cases far away pictures are ok but look how much better the second picture looks because I just zoomed in a little. Avoid Distracting Backgrounds
By simply having them all stand up and turn a different direction I was able to avoid the house in the background the picture look so much nicer and cleaner without that house and all the other distracting thing that take your mind off the people. Mix it Up
Mix it up a little, my favorite thing is to all a little angle to my pictures, its something that not many people do and it slimily gives the pictures a different look.Shoot on a Cloudy DaySometimes when you take picture on a sunny day you get a really bad glare, my favorite time to do pictures is on a nice day but a little cloudy. It is hard to take pictures when your subject when they a squinting because of the sun. Posing
Dont have your subject stand straight up, position there hands on their side, cross their arms, or even have them put their hands in their pocket. One thing I have always had problems with is telling people where to put their hands.
