Fonts

• To change the font in your PowerPoint, all you have to do is right click, click on font, and choose which font you would like. You can change the color, size, or style of your text.

Backgrounds

• You can insert a picture, including clip art, behind your entire slide as a background or behind part of your slide as a watermark. You can also insert a color behind your slide as a background.

• Add Clip Art and Pictures Using a Content Slide Layout

• On the Home tab of the ribbon either clock on the New Slide button or change the current slide layout by clicking on the drop down arrow beside the layout.

Animation

• On the slide, click the text or object that contains the animation effect for which you want to set the start timing.

• On the Animations tab, in the Timing group, do one of the following– To start the animation effect when you clock on the

slide, select Start on Click– To start the animation effect at the same tie as the

previous effect in the list, select Start With Previous.

Hyperlink

• In Normal view, select the text or the object that you want to use as a hyperlink

• On the Insert tab, in the Links group, click Hyperlink• Under Link to, click Place in This Document• Do one of the following:

– Link to a custom show in the current presentation • Under Select a place in this document, click the custom show that you want

to use as the hyperlink destination• Select the Show and return check box.

– Link to a slide in the current presentation:• Under Select a place in this document, click the slide that you want to use as

the hyperlink destination.
