Welcome, and congratulations on taking the next step of faith in your walk toward whole

healthy living!

The last two decades have seen a profound shift in the focus of the food industry.

Devastatingly, the bottom line has trumped efforts to deliver quality and nutrition.

Food scientists have doctored God’s natural food right out of their natural vitamin and mineral

rich state. Instead, we have been offered a flood of dangerous chemicals and preservatives,

such as Red Dye #40, Aspartame, MSG, and even Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs).

Even Christians who stand on a foundation of unwavering truth have been led astray by the

powerful corporations who sell picture perfect promises with their profit driven marketing.

We’ve been fooled into believing that their manufactured foods are not only cheap and easy,

but good for us as well. Alas, we’ve been taught to be wary of what comes easy.

Matthew 7:13

Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by

it are many.

The Christian life requires many acceptable sacrifices along the way. Unfortunately, too many

of us have misplaced our trust and sacrificed our flesh to the world’s view of right and wrong.

These choices have taken us to a point of crisis. Believers are sick and dying when we ought

to be thriving because we know:

The food and drink we consume provide the building blocks for our physical selves as well as

the fuel for our minds. Nutrients and minerals drive the functions necessary for a healthy and

balanced body. Our health, in turn, influences our perceptions and interactions. These are the

frameworks for the way we experience life, think, feel, and present ourselves to others.

Danger lies quietly waiting in a diet and lifestyle that includes the hazardous toxins utilized in

so many refined and highly processed foods. Over time these foreign substances build up in

the body and reveal themselves in disease, lack of energy, obesity, infertility, and more.

Harmful substances and chemicals create a burden for the entirety of the digestive system.

The compromised intestinal tract builds up an excess of mucus disallowing proper absorption

of the nutrients needed for sustained energy throughout the day.

This is not the end of the story. There is great news for even the person who now sees they

have been eating all the wrong foods for years. You too can be completely redeemed.

With the 5 Days to “High School Skinny” Detox Guide you have the opportunity to start afresh

and transition to a long-term, healthy lifestyle as God intended for you. Go ahead. It’s time to

How It Works…  

For a period of five days you will detox. Detoxification allows your body to gently and naturally

remove harmful chemicals and built up toxic waste from your body. You will eat the powerful

and perfect foods God created for us on the third day of creation.

This will be a time of transition for your body. It will take energy, rest, focused determination,

and prayer. It is recommended that you allow for optimum performance of the body’s natural

responses by avoiding exercise. Strenuous activity creates undue stress on the systems

already hard at work coming back into balance.

09 What to Expect During Your Detoxification…  

It’s perfectly normal, and even expected that you would feel sluggish or tired through the first

three days of the program. You can imagine how exercise would exacerbate any weakness.

Be gentle on yourself. Allow for adequate rest, elimination, and time to enjoy and savor the

goodness of the foods that will heal you.  

 

 

 

   

10  HOW TO DETOX  

Days 1, 2, and 3

It is essential that you drink as much water as possible throughout each day of your detox.

When you first wake up in the morning and before you go to bed, drink a minimum of 16

ounces of water. A good rule of thumb is to consume 3 liters of water each day. This will keep

you feeling full; aid your body in flushing out the waste, and assist your organs to operate at

peak performance.  

Water should always be your go to drink even when not trying to detox. Maintaining health

requires consistent hydration. Add a squeeze of organic lemon juice and a dash of Pink

Himalayan sea salt for flavor and to help maintain proper alkalinity within your body as you

detox is also recommended.  

 

 

 

   

11  HOW TO DETOX  

Use either a juicer or a powerful blender such as a Vitamix™ or a Nutribullet™ to make two 8

ounce cups of vegetable juice to drink every3-4 hours. This will ultimately yield 10-12 cups of

juice daily. As often as possible use fresh organic fruits and vegetables so as to avoid

pesticides and GMOs.

 

Days 4

Continue following the plan for days 1-3 and incorporate egg whites for both breakfast and

dinner. You should enjoy each of the two servings of 4-6 egg whites on an empty stomach.

Throughout day 4 you continue to juice as normal only decreasing the total amount by 2 cups.

You will enjoy 8-10 cups of juice instead.

Day5

Repeat the plan from day 4. You may now include an additional 3-4 ounces of pole-caught

Albacore tuna, certified organic chicken or turkey breast at dinner.

Hydration remains crucial, so continue to juice and drink plenty of fresh organic lemon water

throughout the day.  

Congratulations! Your efforts and new behaviors will help lead you to a prolonged life of more energy, focus, and clarity. You shall live well because:

BONUS Days 6 and 7:  

It’s important to ease back into the variety of foods you will include in a new sensible diet.

Take is slow for the first 3 days, you need to allow time for adjustment and do not want to

shock your system with comparatively large quantities of food.
