The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or technicality in bidding, if it is in its best interest to do so. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids without consent of the Board of Education, for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of closing bids. The Prevailing Wage Rates as determined by the State of Missouri,

Division of Labor, shall apply to this project.

Laborers must receive mandatory safety training.

Contractors bidding on a contract for services in excess of $5,000 must provide a sworn affidavit and supporting documentation that affirms the contractors participation in a federal work authorization program, such as E-verify, and that the bidder will not employ illegal workers for the project. A contractor is only required to provide this affidavit to the district. A performance bond is required if the project is estimated to exceed $25,000.
