Radio room The radio room is where the

they listened to coded messages.

The listener would write the messages and then the runner would run it to the decoder. The decoder unscrambled the letters.

school/shop

In the schools they had sellotape crosses on the

windows to stop the glass coming in. We made our own identity cards. Then we did some world war 2 shopping.

Air raid We went down under Beaumanor into the

cellar. We listen to real air raid and bombing

noises.
