How do you find points on the graph with different values of a? Graph the Quadratic Parent Function:  y = x2
Rewritten:  y = 1(x  0)2 + 0
Vertex:  (0, 0) Axis of Symmetry:  x = 0
Table of values to graph: x y
Graph:  y = 2x2  (on the same graph) What changes are caused by a = 2?
