Curtain wall by SkyframeSky-Frame 3 was developed for properties where extremely highdemandsare made of the thermal insulation. This system operates with54 mm thick triple glazing. The additional stability o f its glasspanels means that it can withstand stronger winds. The success of thisdevelopment was confirmed by the certification as first metalMINERGIE® sliding window.

Sound insulation capability: tested up to 44 dB

Excavation plan

Column foundationThe distance between balcony columns is c/c 5000mmThe Distance between balcony column foundation is 1280mmAll foundation for the columns is the same 320x320 and 900mm deep.

Ramp & external staircase to entranceRamp foundation is 200 mm wide and 900 mm deep.Staircase foundation is under the first step 312x2000 mm and 900 mm in depth.

External foundation400x600 mm reinforced concrete.

Internal foundation400x800 mm reinforced concrete.Metal sheeting

The foundation in the right side of the building is deeperbecause of the basement. The depth of the excavation is 3.3 m.To avoid the excavation going out of the plot metal sheeting is needed. It can be suported by rakers or hammered into the soil.

Slope & working spaceTo safeguard against a hazardous collapse, you can create a slopedface in which the sides take the shape of steps with an incline of 1:2(1 across and 2 up). In the case of excavation depths in excess of 5 m,the slope must have an incline of 1:1. The depth of our faudation is 4.8m , andthe elevator is even deeper 6.3 m, we decided to stay on the safe side andmake the slope 1:1.

The work area must be at least 1 m wide (measured at kneeheight). The bottom of the open excavation must be flat and even sothat people can work properly there. If necessary, put down a layerof road construction gravel.

All the measurements are in mm.
