• EachhouseholdbeneficiarywillreceivethecashgrantsofP1,400permonth(health–P500/monthandeducation–P900/month)forfive(5)yearsaslongastheconditionsarecomplied.

5. What are the program conditionalities?

For Education:• Children6-14yearsoldshallenrollinschoolsandattendatleast

85%ofthetime;and• Children3-5yearsoldshallattenddaycare/preschoolprogramat

least85%ofthetime.

For Health:• Children0-5yearsoldshallgetregularpreventivehealthcheck-

upsandvaccines;• Pregnantwomenshallgetpre-natalcare,childbirthisattended

byskilled/healthprofessionalandmothershallgetpost-natalcareinaccordancewithstandardDOHprotocol;and

• Children6-14yearsoldmustreceivedde-wormingpillstwiceayear.

For Family Development Sessions:• Parent/guardiansshallattendresponsibleparentingsessions,

mothers’classesonhealthandnutrition,parenteffectivenessservicesandothertopicsfitfortheirneedsandinterestatleastonceamonth.

6. How do the beneficiaries receive their grants?

• TheLandBankofthePhilippinesistheauthorizedbanktomanagethedisbursementofgrantstothebeneficiaries.

• WiththelimitedLandBankbranchestocatertoallthebeneficiariesnationwide,theLandBankhasengagedtheservicesofotherfinancialinstitutionsandtelecommunicationcompaniestohelpthemdisbursethegrantstothebeneficiaries.

• Todate,beneficiariesmayreceivetheirgrantsthruLandBank(cashcards,over-the-counter,off-site),G-cashremitandotherruralbanks.

• BeneficiarieswithcashcardsmayalsowithdrawtheirgrantsinCooperativeFinancialInstitutions,FirstConsolidatedBankandM.Luillhier.

7. How is the compliance of the beneficiaries to their co-responsibilities being monitored?

• Theprogramhasset-upitsownsystemtomonitorthecomplianceofthebeneficiaries.ThisiscalledtheComplianceVerificationSystem(CVS).

• TheMunicipallinksinpartnershipwiththeteachersandhealthworkersfill-uptheCVSforms.

• TheCVSwillserveasthebasisincomputingthegrantofeachhousehold

8. There were households who are included in the program but are not qualified. What will happen to them?

• Householdswillbedelistedfromtherosterofbeneficiaries.• Theprogramhasestablishedvariousmechanismswhere

• ThesustainablelivelihoodprogramprovidesentrepreneurialcapacitybuildingforallPantawidPamilyabeneficiaries.Theprogramofferstwotracksofassistancenamely:SustainableLivelihoodProgram(SLP)andGuaranteedEmployment.

• SLPwillenablethePantawidPamilyabeneficiariestoestablishandmanagetheirownmicro-enterprisesthroughanentrepreneurialskillstrainingprogramthatincludestheprovisionofnon-collateralandinterest-freeloanamountingtoP10,000perfamily-beneficiaryasseedcapital.

Status Update:

PantawidPamilyaisalreadyonitsfifthyearofimplementation.Theprogramstartedin2008covering160citiesandmunicipalitiesin28provincesinall17regions.Asof26June2013,theprogramisbeingimplementedinall1,627citiesandmunicipalitiesin79provincesinall17Regions.Theregisteredhouseholdshavereached3,927,917or103.10%ofthe3,809,769Sets1-6targethouseholdsfor2013.

Ofthetotalnumberofhouseholds,3,927,917arecoveredbytheregularPantawidPamilyaprogramwhile95,593arecoveredbyPantawidModifiedConditionalCashTransfer(MCCT).

Ofthe3,927,917households,41.85%or1,643,975arecomingfromLuzon,37.75%or1,482,649fromMindanaoand20.40%or801,293arefromVisayas.
