dramaclubromanceThe newest addition of this new-acoustic rock band tells us

about his big aspirations and high hopes for the band. How one day he would like to be headlining major sell-out festivals.

How successful have you become since you started out?“It’s hard to measure our success”, says Craig. “It’s like a bubble. The end of last year we was supporting our idols and only dreaming of headlining ourselves. Now, a few months on, we are headlining sold-out gigs in venues that huge bands like Metallica have played in - it’s crazy.

And you must be getting stopped in the street more?“Yeah, that’s wierd! I don’t feel like a celebrity and I’m

always thinking ‘why do they want my autograph?’ haha. It’s fun most of the time, I like meeting our

fans but it can get annoying if you’re run-ning late and are asked to sign a dozen

pieces of paper and have a photo with each individual person.” What crazy things do you get up to on tour?“Our tour bus isn’t as crazy as you might think. We have to make do with a fairly small van that we have to fit our roadies into too, so we haven’t got the space or luxuries of an actual tour bus. It sucks because it means most our time is just spent catching up on sleep.”

Whats the best gig you’ve played so far?“Oh, thats tough. It’s probably got to be when we supported Enter Shikari at Rock City in Liver-pool. It was mental! There was strobe lights eve-rywhere and the crowd was wild - singing every word. Thats when I first felt accomplished!”

What has been your biggest challenge as a band?“Well when we first started, it was really hard. Theres so many other bands that want the same thing, you’re in competition. Sometimes you feel like you’re never going to be heard but you’ve just got to stick at it. We never gave up and in the end got lucky, we’re so grateful for everything we achieved but we have worked so hard for it.” Whats the best advice you could give to someone wanting make it big with their own band?“Simply, you can’t give up. You have to stick at it. At the start you most likely won’t be making any money and you will have to do a lot of free shows, just to get your name out there. It’s good if you know somone already in a band, who you could do shows with. Social network-ing sites are good too, they are free and an easy way to get noticed.”

Do you have any plans of a

new album coming out?“Yeah, we’ve been in the studio for a few weeks now with some ideas. Its great being in the studio but our next album might be held up due to our next tour.”

How big is the next tour going to be?“Well it’s gonna be the biggest tour we have done. It’s a whole UK tour with about 10 dates, so i’m really excited and it should be really fun!”

Finally, whats your motto?“Party til you pass-out!”
