R. W. CORKERY & CO. PTY. LIMITED
4A.3.2 Land Ownership and Surrounding Residences
The bulk of the land within the Yarraboldy Extension area is Crown Land (20ha), principally the Ben Bullen State Forest. The remainder of the land is owned by Enhance Place Pty Limited (7ha). Land within the existing Pine Dale Coal Mine is principally owned by Enhance Place Pty Limited, G. and A. Jenkins or is Crown Land. The surrounding land ownership consists of predominantly freehold land owned by both individuals and companies together with a number of Crown road reserves controlled by both Council and the RTA. Figure 4A.4 displays the current understanding of the land ownership within and surrounding the Project Site.
Figure 4A.4 shows that 12 residences are located within approximately 500m of the Yarraboldy Extension and a further two residences between 0.5km and 1km from the Yarraboldy Extension. Table 4A.6 identifies the location and approximate distance of the ten closest residences relative to the nearest existing processing activity or the Yarraboldy Extension mining activities. It is noteworthy that each of the residences listed in Table 4A.6 were closer to the operational areas of the Pine Dale Coal Mine during its operations between 2006 and the present.
