hen it came to designing and decorating their Colorado style, Lake Ozark home, Lynn
Terlaga, and her husband Kory wanted to bring the outdoors in. As they looked for inspiration, they realized they did not need to go any further than their own backyard.
They took their style cues from the spectacular championship golf course surrounding their Osage National home,
and added their own tasteful touches. As soon as you set foot in the main entryway, you feel instantly welcomed by the warmth of the Terlaga home.
The home itself is located just off the seventh tee of the Mountain Course. The Terlagas are close to all that the Lake has to offer, as well as everything they need. All the while, they retain the sense of privacy and luxury that

hen Kansas City natives, Ron Benoit and his wife, Mae, began looking for a
second home, they had their hearts set on moving to Arizona. They were determined to break away from the city, and find a place surrounded by nature. Even though moving to Arizona was their initial plan, something told them to take a look a little closer to home. When they set eyes on their
home in peaceful Laurie, Missouri, a town just north of Sunrise Beach, they immediately fell in love.
“We found a place with potential, and we bought it,” says Benoit of his home.

and styles. When it came to doing the remodeling, Benoit completed many of the projects on his own.
“I retired eight years ago, and I needed to keep myself busy. I did a lot of the work myself,” Benoit says. The craftsmanship that Benoit expresses in the reconstruction of his home is remarkable.
When it came to the kitchen and bathrooms, Benoit and his wife collaborated with Laurie Kitchen & Bath for the design. The staff at Laurie Kitchen & Bath drew up a computer-designed floor plan, to give homeowners Ron and Mae an idea of what their kitchen and bathrooms

a New Year’s Eve toast to ring out the old, party favors, a midnight balloon drop and a ballroom open for dancing. The Resort at Port Arrowhead has its own set of amusements for its New Year’s Eve party. They have three packages available, allowing you to customize your New Year’s weekend any way you like. You can buy a party package, which includes a champagne toast, party favors, and an area for dancing. A package for the dinner buffet and the party is available. Individuals can even choose a package that includes everything as well as accommodations. The Resort at Port Arrowhead has a decadent New Year’s Eve party menu and live entertainment for their guests. John Custer, General Manager of the Resort, is even considering making their future New Year’s Eve celebrations a family affair.
You can also join in on the carousing at the Country Club Hotel, off of Carol Road on Horseshoe Bend. The Country Club Hotel offers several options to guests for their New Year’s Eve celebration. They will have a gorgeous New Year’s Eve menu that you can buy separately, or you can choose the room plus a dinner for two package. Tickets for the New Years Eve party are also sold separately. They include ballroom dance lessons, a champagne toast, hors d’oeuvres, dance music played by a DJ, a dessert buffet, and even a cash bar. Guests have the freedom to choose what to make a part of their New Year’s celebration, and you can too!
