chamber ensembles including the Chelsea Opera, New Jersey Arts Collective, South Jersey Bassoon Ensemble, and toured South

ensembles. Performance experience also includes over 10 albums and a recent feature with National Public Radio’s Mountain

VIOLIN
ALEXANDER LEE – B.A. in Violin Performance from Montclair State University. Music concentration at the Peabody
Conservatory. Studied with Weigang Li and other members of the Shanghai Quartet. Performance experience with local theatre
ensembles and various performing groups, including the Manifestivus and gypsy jazz group the High Street Lowlifes. 12 years

training. Founder and Director of the Henrico Pops Chorus.
QUINTON PARKER – Studied Music at Virginia Commonwealth University. Performance experience with the West End
Assembly of God, and around the Richmond area. Over 20 years teaching experience. Specializes in improvisation for jazz, pop,
gospel, and contemporary worship. Teaches all ages and styles.

SCOTT MARTIN – 30 years performance experience including TV, radio, and recording, with his albums Jiffy Mellows and ETR.

bluegrass. Also teaches ukulele and bass.
STEPHAN SAUNDERS – Studied at Virginia Common University School of Music. Over 35 years teaching experience including
Richmond Public Schools, Wilson Community College, and the VCU School of Music. Specialized as a guitar builder and
technician. Teaches all styles and skill levels. Specializes in blues, jazz, alternate tunings, and folk. Also teaches ukulele and bass.
JIM WESTLYN - B.A. from Shenandoah Conservatory. Teaching experience at John Tyler and J. Sergeant Reynolds Community
College. Teaches all styles and levels. Also teaches banjo, ukulele, and bass.
