DESCRIPTION Flat, hard, weather and chemical resistant aliphatic
polyurethane COLOUR Colours as specified
MIX RATIO 2 parts Base, 1 part Catalyst by volume
REDUCER THINNER 4600-S-72 (MIL-T-81772 Type I), suggest 10-15% (or 4600-S-1)
APPLICATION VISCOSITY Approx. 20 Seconds, #2 Zahn Cup
POT LIFE 8 Hours @ 25°C (77°F) at approximately 50% relative humidity
INDUCTION TIME 15 – 30 Minutes
RECOMMENDED FILM THICKNESS
1.5-2.0 mils dry
DRY TIME To tape 12 hours at 25°C (77°F), at approximately 50% relative humidity
APPLICATION Apply a light coat followed by a full wet coat to give a wet film thickness of 3-4 mils. May be applied by airless or conventional spray equipment
NOTE: CATALYST IS SENSITIVE TO MOISTURE AND MUST BE KEPT IN TIGHTLY CLOSED CONTAINERS. IF CATALYST TAKES ON A MILKY CAST IT SHOULD NOT BE USED AND SHOULD BE DISCARDED.
