2018 MES Fall Carnival a Great Success!!! The Manchester Elementary Fall Carnival on Friday, November 2nd, was a huge success!!! The chili supper was sponsored by the National Art Honor Society. Mrs. Roberts and her gang did a great job organizing and hosting the dinner. Teachers and other school groups filled the gym with goodies and with games for all to do. Teachers and other groups that participated collected the money made and will use it for class supplies, class trips or other needs they have for the students. We also had many great vendors that participated in the carnival this year. The annual auction after the carnival was a great success thanks to the businesses who donated, the parents that helped get the donations, our bidders and Noah Schiltz, Auctioneer. Each grade level created a themed basket to auction at the end of the evening. Each grade receives half of the money back from the basket sales. The class with the top selling basket gets to keep all money made from their basket. Many Thanks for all of the help and support from the students, staff, parents, community, vendors and businesses for making this year’s carnival such a great success and a positive, family friendly event for our kids and our community.

Santa Shopping Day On December 6th, the elementary will have “Santa Shopping Day.” There are many vendors that have items for the students to purchase for family and friends. The vendors will also be staying for part of parent-teacher conferences for anyone that would like to stop in the gym and shop. The Girl Scouts and other volunteers will be wrapping gifts.
