. 1. These rules may be called he Lecturer n the Government ngineering egree colleges,

Class l, Recruitment ules, 009.

2. Appointment o the post of Lecturer n Engineering r Technology r Mathematicsr

Physics r Chemistry r English r Economics r Humanities r Sciences' n theGovernment

Engineering egree olleges, under he Directorate fTechnical ducation' ujaratState'shallbe

3. To be eligible or appointment y direct selection o the post mentioned n rule 2' a

candidate hall,-(1) not be more han 35 Years f age;

(2)( a) for the post ol Lecturer in Engineering or fechnology'-

(i) possess post-graduate egree with irstclass n the appropriate ranch of Engineenng

or Technology as may be specified y he Government' r

(ii) A bachelor's egree with first class in the appropriate ranch of Engineering r

Technology r equivalent as may be specified by the Government' btainedrom an

insiitution ecognised y the All lndia Council or Technical Education' with valid GATE
