Steps to show Hidden files

1. Open explorer, go to the Tools -> Folder, click on View tab

2. Check the “Show hidden files, folders, and drives”. Click Ok. Please see above image.

4. Delete the “TrendManager Suite” folder from this location, if present. 5. This activity needs to be done for all users who are going to use TrendManager. To do this the

Administrator of the system needs to go to each user’s virtual store (above path) and delete the “TrendManager Suite” folder.

6. Start using TrendManager.

Note 1 : TrendManager can be used even in Non-Administrator mode, once installation is done. Administrative privileges are required only for installation. Once installation and above steps are followed, any user (non- administrator) can use TrendManager without any problem. Eg: “User1” is Administrator of “pc1”, “User1” logs in and install TrendManager by following above steps, “User1” logs off and “User2” logs in (Non Administrator). Now, “User2” can use TrendManager without any issues. Note 2: For Windows Firewall & DCOM Configuration refer the document (Page 36 onwards) “43-TV-07-33_X-Series_DCOM_Firewall_App8 and for Trendview-Historian Server final.doc”.
