IntroductionThepurposeoftheStreetscapeProject–PreliminaryDesignReportistodocumentthewaysinwhichthePreliminaryDesigndrawingsrespondtothecommunitybriefforeachofthe12townsandvillagesinUpperLachlanShire.ThesebriefswereprovidedintheCommunityBriefsdocumentprovidedtoCouncilinJuly2018.

Thereportlistspossiblesolutionsforneedsthathavebeenidentifiedbythecommunity.Insomecasestherearemultiplesolutionsidentifiedforaparticularneed.Thesearebasedonideasfromvarioussourcesincludingthecommunity,aresometimescontradictoryandarenotallnecessarilyimplementedinthepreliminaryplans.Theyarelistedinthisreporttoshowthedesignthinkingprocess.

ItemsintheCommunityBriefsthatarerelatedto,butoutsidethescope,oftheStreetscapeProjectareidentifiedinthecommentsofthisreportalongwithsuggestionsforhowtheycouldbehandled.

Thepreliminarydesignprocesswillincludeasurveythatallowscommunitymemberstoidentifytheirprioritiesforparticularworksinthepreliminaryplansbasedontheirneedswithoutworryingaboutthecost.
