Leadership skills are the tools, behaviors and capabilities that a person needs in order to be successful at motivating and directing others. Such leaders are not afraid of taking the risk of allowing others to add some of their own thoughts on how they should perform their jobs. The most effective leaders are those who can successfully influence the way other people influence themselves.
