Prior to Alchemy Foodtech, Verleen and Alan co-founded Soyato, a low-calorie, reduced-fat vegan ice cream in 2011, Soyato’s technology was in fat-replacement and using alternative vegan ingredients to create everyone’s favouritefrozen treat- ice cream. It was sold internationally in supermarkets in Singapore and Europe, and it is now acquired.
