  • Both the Autotek nut feeding system and the Autotek stud feeding system were created on one premise. That premise was “simple innovation”. Both systems were designed under one concept; to contain the part and deliver it to the work piece. The patented dual action cylinder is what makes all of this possible.

    integration program

The i2 program is designed to

integrate the patented gripper cyinder to the custom

    ers existing system

    . The program can w

    ork on m

    any levels from a sim

ple integration of our cylinder to your system

. Or it can go as far as to

    replace everything but the bowl.

    next door manufacturing

    The single largest complaint w

e have heard, is that the custom

er can’t get service or spare parts in a tim

    ely m

    anner. Manufacturing plus is our

    response. With locations already in

    Grand Rapids, and D

    etroit Michigan,

    Autotek has added two m

    ore locations. O

ne in Burlington Ontario, and one in

    Tennessee. Regardless of where the

    systems are m

    anufactured, they will

still look and function the same.

the “gripper” cylinderThe patented “Gripper” cylinder is a double action cylinder. The first action brings the nut to the weld piece. The second strips the nut onto the weld piece. What makes this cylinder unique is the use of a spring loaded “Gripper”. The “Gripper” physically holds on to the inside of the nut, and carries it down to the weld piece. It was designed to work in an environment, where magnetism or vaccuum is less than ideal.

the “stud” cylinderThe stud cylinder works very much the same as the “Gripper” cylinder. It is also a double action cylinder. The first action brings the stud to the weld piece. The second brings a “hammer” forward, which pushes the stud out of the “jaws”, and into the welding position.
