PERAN FAKTOR RISIKO DENGAN KEJADIAN EMFISEMA DI POLIASMA DAN
PPOK RSUD DR. SOETOMO SURABAYA
Abstrak :
The incident of emphysema occured in asthma sufferrers in
Indonesia. Emphysema in asthma patients whohave risk factors of
age, habits, environment and infection still not explained. The
main risk factor ofemphysema is smoking. This descriptive analytic
research takes questionnaires and medical record frompatients of
lung clinic in RSUD. Dr. Soetomo on August 2008 until January 2010.
The method used in thisresearch is cohort. Result from Chi Square
test shows that there is relation between smoking habit andhistory
of infection disease. Total patients in the diagnosis of emphysema
was 18 people, patients who havea habit of smoking is 9 people,
patients with a history of infectious disease is 4 people, patients
residingpolluted area is 5 persons and patients with age above 40
years is 10 people. In conclusion, smoking andinfectious diseases
have a relationship with emphysema.
