WIRELESS BASED RAILWAY BRIDGE DAMAGE & TRACK FAULT
NOTIFICATION WITH ALARM SYSTEMS
AIM:
The main aim of this project is to identify bridge damage and track fault detection of
railway by using wireless technology.
PURPOSE:
The purpose of the project is to know the bridge damage & track fault information of the
railways for the early identification and detection of damage by using wireless communication
technology.

DESCRIPTION:
In this project a wireless technology is designed for application in railways monitoring
systems. This system is based on a structure that can acquire the data such as accelerometer
information, and transmit processed information to the control section. Information about
structural parameters of structure can be sent to a micro controller allowing knowledge of key-
information of the structure.
In the transmitter section there are notification sensors (MEMS) which will send the
information regarding the parameters of the structure. These values are realized with the help of
microcontroller. This data can be sent to the control section by using wireless RF
communication.

In the control section the RF receiver will receive the data and send to the controller and
from the micro controller is there any emergency the immediate buzzer is provided for alerting
the railway men.

RESULT:
Hence, by implementing this project we can identify the bridges damage levels and
monitor the track fault parameters of railways.
