ANOTHER SUCCESS STORY: PACKING A 4.1 TONNE CHAIN FOR TRANSPORT TO THE US. This was a challenging project where we had to design and build an enclosed case suitable to hold the 4.1 tonne chain that was suitable for "Air Freight". We had an extremely tight deadline, with the crate being manufactured over a short time period, packing and securing the chain at our premises meeting our client’s deadline. We had to arrange a team to handle the logistics at short notice, arranging the necessary equipment to uplift and pack the chain. Our team designed and built a case with a heavy-duty base to hold and evenly distributed the 4.1 tonne of weight. The chain was carefully unravelled, lifted and laid out using a 10 tonne franna crane. Under careful instruction the crane driver gradually lowered the chain into the case, with our team ensuring that the chain was laid into the case evenly. The chain was then secured into the case with strapping and bracing. The fully enclosed case was then sealed, strapped and shipped. For this challenging project we were required to design a packaging solution for the protection and transportation of a 4.1 tonne chain. The chain was being returned to the manufacturer in the United States, after it had failed and as part of the warranty was being returned for X-Ray testing to locate the reason for the failure. OUR CHALLENGES OUR SOLUTION Client Testimonial: “Many thanks to your team. It was a challenging job and you guys did an amazing job in record time. Thanks to the AXIS Team for managing to fit this into your busy schedule and coming up with an efficient method to crate this freight.”

PACKING A 4.1 TONNE CHAIN FOR TRANSPORT TO THE US.

• This was a challenging project where we had to design and build an enclosed case suitable to hold the 4.1 tonne chain that was suitable for "Air Freight".

• We had an extremely tight deadline, with the crate being manufactured over a short time period, packing and securing the chain at our premises meeting our client’s deadline.

• We had to arrange a team to handle the logistics at short notice, arranging the necessary equipment to uplift and pack the chain.

• Our team designed and built a case with a heavy-duty base to hold and evenly distributed the 4.1 tonne of weight.

• The chain was carefully unravelled, lifted and laid out using a 10 tonne franna crane.

• Under careful instruction the crane driver gradually lowered the chain into the case, with our team ensuring that the chain was laid into the case evenly.

• The chain was then secured into the case with strapping and bracing.

• The fully enclosed case was then sealed, strapped and shipped.

For this challenging project we were required to design a packaging solution for the protection and transportation of a 4.1 tonne chain.

The chain was being returned to the manufacturer in the United States, after it had failed and as part of the warranty was being returned for X-Ray testing to locate the reason for the failure.
