Part Number 75015755 is a direct replacement for the Main PCB Assembly used in models 40XV645U, 46XV645U and the 52XV645U. When replacing the 75015755 Main PCB Assembly, it’s necessary to confirm and/or set “panel options” and the “set ID” registers for the model you’re servicing. Enter the “service mode” and adjust the registers using the “Model to Data” chart provided below. Entering the Service Mode: (“Mute” > “Mute” > “Hold Mute” and press simultaneously the “Menu Button at the TV”) 1) Use the following sequence to enter the “Service Mode”. Press the “Mute” button on the user remote control three times holding the “Mute” button down on the third press. While holding down the “Mute” button on the remote, simultaneously press the “Menu” button on the TV receiver. (This button sequence must be completed relatively fast) The Service Mode will be displayed on the screen as shown in Figure 1. 2) Use the “Channel Up and Down” button to select the “Option Registers” and “Set ID Registers” indicated in the Model to Data Chart. Check the value settings for each of the registers shown for the model being serviced. 3) Use the “Volume Up and Down” to adjust registers to the values shown in the “Model to Data” Chart. 4) Save changes by powering the TV receiver to the off position. Momentarily remove AC power by removing the AC line cord plug from the AC wall outlet. Reconnect AC line cord and power the TV receiver to the on position. Complete any necessary adjustments and safety checks as indicated in the service documentation. Part Number 75015755 is a direct replacement for the Main PCB Assembly used in models 40XV645U, 46XV645U and the 52XV645U. When replacing the 75015755 Main PCB Assembly, it’s necessary to confirm and/or set “panel options” and the “set ID” registers for the model you’re servicing. Enter the “service mode” and adjust the registers using the “Model to Data” chart provided below. Entering the Service Mode: (“Mute” > “Mute” > “Hold Mute” and press simultaneously the “Menu Button at the TV”)

1) Use the following sequence to enter the “Service Mode”. Press the “Mute” button on the user remote control three times holding the “Mute” button down on the third press. While holding down the “Mute” button on the remote, simultaneously press the “Menu” button on the TV receiver. (This button sequence must be completed relatively fast) The Service Mode will be displayed on the screen as shown in Figure 1.

2) Use the “Channel Up and Down” button to select the “Option Registers” and “Set ID Registers” indicated in the Model to Data Chart. Check the value settings for each of the registers shown for the model being serviced.

3) Use the “Volume Up and Down” to adjust registers to the values shown in the “Model to Data” Chart. 4) Save changes by powering the TV receiver to the off position. Momentarily remove AC power by removing the

AC line cord plug from the AC wall outlet. Reconnect AC line cord and power the TV receiver to the on position. Complete any necessary adjustments and safety checks as indicated in the service documentation.
