Shinkansen Observation TowerThe Shinkansen Observation Tower located next to the roadside station, is 14 meters high, with an observation deck on the 2F and roof, so visitors can see not only the Shinkansen(bullet train) up close, but can also get a view of the entrance to the Seikan Tunnel as well as the three-rail track system.

The remains of the Bakufu battleship "Kaiyomaru," which sank over 100 years ago, are preserved and on display for the public. Inside the ship, visitors can learn about the history surrounding the battleship, and view the hands-on exhibits.

The resting place of Kanrin Maru, the first Japanese ship built at the end of the Edo period, to sail across the Pacific Ocean. In May, the ship is decorated with approximately 50,000 colorful tulip lights that illuminate the ship.
