Self Preparation:
Then make a list of important books with the help of seniors and
concerned teachers in your departments, Select two books for each
subject, one as text book and one as a reference book.

Self Preparation:
Start with a basic subject like Network Analysis (for EC, EE,
IN) or Digital Logic (for CS).
Start mathematics in parallel to your core subject.
Firstly complete all basic subjects like ( Network Analysis,

Try to get a clear concept of all the basic subjects by

www.nptel.ac.in or from any other site.
Prepare notes for each lecture add some extra concept if you
find by following your text book.

Self Preparation:
After following a video series start to solve previous year
question and mark all the concept you encounter in your notes
based.
Prepare all the basic subject in very rigorous manner. Spend as
much time as it takes.

Self Preparation:
Once you are done with all basic subject start preparing core
subjects like Instrumentation (IN) Power system (EE) in same way
but your preparation for these subject should be totally focused
for GATE. No need to do these subject completely try to figure out
what is not important.

Self Preparation:
Once you are done with all subject start revision, solve as much
problem as you can. Do it in repetitive manner for all subject one
by one.
Lastly if possible join some test series in the month of January
