The member may be asked to present it at 4-H fairs and horse shows for identification of the animal. This certificate is valuable and important and should be kept in a safe place 4-H Leader This certificate should be given out to the members early in the 4-H year. Members should be instructed on how to fill out this certificate and of its importance. Have the members fill it out and return it in plenty of time for you to sign it and get it to the county agent’s office by May 1 of the current year. Extension Agent Sign each certificate and keep a copy for your file and give a copy to the leader. You may require members to fill out a new certificate each year or you may redate the existing copy if this works better for your program.
