A&M students and staff, seriously affected my health. I had a responsibility to teachers, parentsand students who trusted me and who believed in my honesty. I was no longer operating asthe the Director of A&M. You, the parents, needed to know that A&M was under newmanagement. Only then would you be able to act in the best interest of your child.

I submitted my resignation after much deliberation and in the best interest of my health and your

childs education; to have done otherwise would have been dishonest. We are accountable tothe parents who choose us and to the public that funds us. I take my responsibility seriously. The moment I felt I could not fulfill this responsibility, it was necessary to resign.

I am indebted to all of you, the parents, the students, the faculty and staff of this A school. Iam grateful for your support. In four decades as an educator, I have worked with some of thebest. The members of this PTSA are stellar and unparalleled in their level of commitment andaction. You can be proud, as I am proud, to be a member of this team.

    Sincerely,

    Bill Machado
