What is mesotherapy?Mesotherapy is a medical procedure that involves injecting various substances (pharmaceuticals, vitamins, minerals, natural or homeopathic extracts) into the skin. These substances are used to obtain various results depending on the problem we want treated (melting of fat cells, improving circulation, reducing fibrosis, stimulating collagen synthesis and elastin, promoting hair regeneration).

When to use mesotherapy? It has multiple applications: reduction of fat deposits, cellulite, stretch marks, hair loss, acne, scarring and rejuvenation (wrinkles, laxity, and hyperpigmentation).

How many sessions are needed?Usually 4 to 6 sessions are required for optimal results; during the initial consultation with the dermatologist, it will determine the treatment protocol according to the problem being treated and its severity.

When will I see results? The results are seen after the first session, 2-4 weeks after starting treatment and will improve after each session.

How long do the results last? After the initial protocol with successive meetings, it is necessary to return for maintenance sessions for preserving the results. The frequency of maintenance sessions will be determined by the dermatologist, usually 1 session every 4-6 months.

How does a mesotherapy session take place? Before you start your skin is cleaned with an antiseptic solution and an anesthetic cream is applied for 20-30 minutes. The treatment consists of injecting with fine needles small amounts of mesotherapy solutions. The procedure takes 20-30 minutes.

How does skin look after mesotherapy? The skin is usually red, and small swelling and bruising may occur due to the injection that disappears after 2-3 days.

Injectable mesotherapy is a method aiming to obtain a face rejuvenation effect with the preservation of the natural aesthetic features of the patients.
