Convention ServicesThe success of your meeting starts with the experienced sta� of the Amarillo Convention & Visitor Council. We are committed and trained to assist you with the coordination of your meeting.

Pre-Convention PlanningThe success of your meeting depends largely on its early groundwork. Our servicing division will assist you in �nalizing details of your meeting. We can help with contacts for lodging accommodations and meeting facilities. We will assist you in every way to ensure a fun and successful meeting.

Site Inspection ArrangementsWe can make arrangements for you to tour various Amarillo facilities, hotels and o�-site event locations and attractions.

Housing CoordinationReservations can now be made on the Internet; our centralized reservation service is available for groups using three or more Amarillo hotels. Receive daily up-to-date reports on your room nights. Minimum cost to your association.

Spouse & Youth Tours Arrangements can be made for entertainment, theme parties, and suggested itineraries for spouse & youth activities/tours. With a variety of local venues, we can make suggestions and provide contacts.

Transportation CoordinationLocal transportation coordination is available. The ACVC will reserve and assist with your itinerary. Cost of transportation will be incurred by the contracting organization.

Registration AssistanceFour complimentary hours of registration assistance is available to those groups using 300 + Amarillo hotel rooms. For additional hours there will be a $12.00 an hour fee.

Name BadgesOur computerized name badges produce large characters for attractive and easy to read badges. We can also personalize them with your logo. There will be no charge to those groups using 300 + Amarillo hotel rooms. Groups using less than 300 Amarillo hotel rooms will be charged per name badge, this includes insert and sleeve.

Meeting PublicityThe ACVC provides information and consultation regarding your publicity needs to help spread the word! • Local Press Contacts, • Press Releases, • Slides, Promotional video and photos available • E-mail News Releases

Area Information & BrochuresWe can provide complimentary plastic bags, boot pins, pens, city maps and various brochures depending on the size of your group. The ACVC can also provide information on caterers, tour guides and restaurants.

Attendance BuildersFor additional promotion of your convention, the ACVC can supply your group with postcards at no cost to your group and electronic newsletters. Ask us for more details.

Welcome SignsWelcome signs can be provided to place at the hotel check-in. Groups using the Amarillo Civic Center will be provided with a larger easel type welcome sign.
