3rd I Film Festival South Asian Film Festival: Bollywood and Beyond

From intellectual classics to documentary films, from novel and experimental visualizations to next-level Bollywood: 3rd i Films is dedicated to encouraging varied images of South Asians through self-governing film. We display films from India and other countries and also the worldwide South Asian Diaspora. 3rd i’s programs reveal the existences and capabilities of the many cultural, spiritual and national personalities that involve the South Asian identity, and support communication and discussion both within the South Asian community and with other native and universal communities. The premiere yearly South Asian film festival in the United States, the San Francisco International South Asian Film Festival (SFISAFF) has fetched the filmic legacy and values of South Asia to the Bay Area viewers for more than 10 years. Offered by 3rd i Films, the oldest South Asian media arts association in the U.S., the carnival encourages varied images of South Asians and stimulates variation through independent film. This year the grand festival is going to take place from 22nd of October 2015 to 25th of October 2015 in San Francisco and 1st of November 2015 in Palo Alto. This year's ‘Focus on Freedoms’ is going to bring you the inspirational stories from the front lines of the fight for gender fairness, and also inspecting the legacy of freedom for India and Pakistan. Art cinema comprising of latest, classic& comedies from both Indie& Bollywood catch a room on the program. The filmmakers of the Bay Area and the live presentations will be making a strong screening at the festival as well. Online tickets are available only for $10 per film. But at-the-door tickets can be availed for $13 per film. You can buy the passes only online.
