Meeting called to order : AC Hari called the 3Rd AEX of Area 2 for the tabling year 2013-14 to order with a toast to the President Republic of India. !

Aims & Objectives : The A & O was read by Area Editor Tr.Akshay Dugar of Table 123. !After this the Round Table India Song was played to which the floor sang along !

AC Hari asked the floor to maintain a minute silence for the passing away for Tr.Ankits dad who passed away and also for the victims of MH 370. !

Sergeant at Arms : AC Hari made Table Chairman 30 Tr.Sanjay Goel the Sergeant at Arms for the day. !Welcome Address : The AC welcomed the HTs , All the Board Members present and welcomed the

National Secretary Tr.Suman Voora and the National Publicity Convener Tr.Hamir and all the other Tablers and guests present at the meeting... !

Table 159 : Chairman Tejas spoke about the various kinds of fellowships they have had the month and spoke

specifically about the unique community service they did which is picking unidentified unattended dead bodies in different localities in Chennai and taking them to cremation ground doing a ritual cremation for their souls. For this the floor that day applauded

Table 1 : Chairman Manu came forward and first spoke about their brilliant and successful fund raiser

through a Art Auction which they had in which they raised almost 1.3 Crores of Rs and for this the floor gave him and Table 1 a standing ovation. He mentioned that a guy bought a single painting for Rs.25 lakhs and actually paid it right then and there and told them that the same thing can be sold again immediately to some one else for raising more moneys.. For this again the floor applauded He also shared that he was very happy that their Table was 100% LMF

He said that they did 2 Dialysis treatments and also this Eye care event has been done after 3 years He also announced that they were bringing back the popular Inter Table Quiz event after 8 years and that it would be held some time in May.

emphasised on their Projects and said that soon Rs.60 Lakhs worth of project will be completed . He also said mentioned about their all boys out station trip to Colombo and the LAPD they have had there

were 100 % LMF now - For this floor the floor appreciated them. He also said that they had a couples fellowship called Maine Pyar Kiya where 19 couples danced . Each couple were assigned a Choreographer who went to their residence and taught them . He said that they have started a project for 5 class rooms worth 42 lakhs. He also shared that for the first time ever Table 39 won the Top Gun volley ball inter table tournament organised by Table 95 and he also mentioned that for the first time their table reached the semi finals of Area 2 Cricket League organised by Table 30. He said that they were really very excited for this.

care taker of their long term project Sanjeevi and mentioned words of appreciation to AC Hari and Area Projects convener Tr.Kaval to haver proposed this and made it a reality. He also shared that they had raised about Rs.13.8 Lakhs by their fund raiser Dawn to Dusk and also Super Chef competition with the help pif their LC and that they along with their LC have pledged 100 % of the funds to Project Sanjeevi. He also shared that 3 schools will be built by their table with the help of their long term Corporate partner Ford under their CSR program and this project will be worth about 1.25 crores.

the floor to Mr.Karthik an ex-Tr of Table 82 who represents a voluntary organisation called Voters Association of India . Karthik took an LAPD session on Right to Vote It was an awesome session and there was 100 % attention of the floor. The session gave us a lot of insight and was very informative. The floor was really grateful to him for the knowledge impart. !

Table 10s Quiz Inter table event promotion : A few Tablers of Table 10 lead by IPC Tr.Akshay promoted their upcoming event by conducting a small Quiz to the floor present and the winners were given away gifts sponsored by Tr.Vikas Nahar.

35th Area AGM time : Tr.Sandy came forward and announced that the subscription cost was - For Couples - Rs.6600/- For Single Entry - Rs.4400 per head. !This budget was proposed by Table 42 through Tr.Sandy and the same was seconded by Table 39 by

Chairman Tr.Inder Chairman. !Convener Reports : !LAPD : Tr.Varinder Singh the Area convener mentioned that 23 Tablers from Area 2 attended the Robin Sharmas

event and that the promised amount as donation from the event hosts is being followed up on . He said the floor will be reverted about this as and when there is news on this. So when the Area gets the donation then the respective Tables who had participants who attended the show will get a max amount of Rs.10,000 as a contribution towards their projects account.

He also mentioned that there were a few tablets from Area 2 who went for the IIM Ahmedabad event organised by one of the Ahmedabad Table. !

Inter Table : Tr.Kaushal Shah the convener came forward and said that it was an actin packed Qtr that passed with

MTM, Top Gun 2014 by 95, Area 2 Cricket League by Table 30, Area 2 Idol by Table 162, KART 100 by MART 100 and he also mentioned that in May there will be a Table 10 event which is based on their very Popular past event based on QUIZ. !

Fellowship : Tr.Narendar Shah the convener for fellowship said that the MTM saw a turn out of almost 300 heads. He

congratulated 39 for their MPK fellowship for Valentines day. He mentioned that the proposed Area boys trip is cancelled because there were many Tables already going for trips abroad individually. He also mentioned that the Fellowship Tabler T-Shirts need to be promoted more in Tables. !

Projects & Community Service : !Tr.Kaval came and forward informed that Area 2 is doing really good in this facet and presented a small presentation. He said that Dr.Achut the doctor in charge of 94s Project Sanjeevi was given a GLMF jewel and that it was an honour to do that from the Area board. He also put forward St.Johns Villupuram project proposal to the floor if only any Table wanted to look in to it

Secys time : Gist of what Area 2 DID in Qtr 3 !!Fund Raising - We have raised totally around Rs.2.35 Crores !Projects - 16 Class Rooms of 9400 square feet construction area worth around Rs. 1 Crore 5 Lakhs benefiting about 800 plus students. !Publicity - 5 cars from 5 Tables participated in the Freedom Drive National Initiative, Publicity through different Table Fund Raisers in major News Papers , Radio 104.8 fm NDTV & Local Magazines . Also through runs like Dawn to Dusk and 100 kms run across TN. !Fellowship - More The Merrier - Area 2s MTM in Jan 2014 was attended by 350 plus heads. During the MTM we had a historic 15 Table Joint Meeting. !Inter-Table - Area 2 Cricket League by Tab 30 , KART 100 - Go Karting Event, 8th Edition of Area 2 Idol by Tab 162 - All were Super Hits with very good participation . !International Fellowships - 4 Tables - 30,94,100 and 123 have travelled abroad. !LAPD - Multiple Sessions with various different topics conducted in many Tables. !Table minutes - 85% of the Tables in Area 2 have updated their minutes on MOMO. !Editorial - Area 2 Do More News Letter - The 7th and 8th Editions of this TY of Jan and Feb month were released and circulated !LMF - Area 2 adds on 5 more Tables to its existing Tally of already 8 tables being 100% LMF and the new Tables added are Tables - 1, 39, 82, 104 and 124 . So now in Area 2 we are 13 out of 18 Tables who are 100% LMF. !

Area Vice Chairmans Time :

Incoming Area Chairman Tr. Shriram Duvvrri presented budget for 2014-15 to the floor. He was happy to inform that there was no increase in the D form Dues this year. The Budget was proposed by Table 94 Tr.Krishna and Seconded by Table 39 by TR. Inder Singh .

He also mentioned that we should nominate 2 Trs for National Golf Tournament for the TY 14-15 from Area 2.

He also announced that the 2014 TEXT will happen at Coorg @ Club Mahindra Holiday Resorts and the program is - Depart - 19th of June and hence June 20th and 21st would be the TEXT and return on 22nd of June.

!Area Immediate Past Chairman : IRO

Area IPC Tr.Gitesh congratulated the head table for a good year so far and he said it in his usual unique style :-)

!Area Chairmans time :

He updated the Area Board about the status of PRT 70 , AHT Punit and Past Area Chairman Tr.Sandy also participated in the discussion. Further to the discussions and deliberations and considering the fact that PRT 70 has been inactive for almost a year, it was unanimously agreed by the board that the Area Chairman would send a letter seeking a response from the Tablers of PRT 70 as to why the Area Board shall not initiate the process of De-Charter.

!Any other Matter :

1.Chairman Tr.Inder of Table 39 invited the board for their charter night coming up and also announced that they would be hosting an inter table event in June which will be a Bowling Tournament in Phoenix Mall.

2. Tr.Suresh Eknath the new Chairman of Table 82 came forward and handed over a Cheque to AC Hari . This was issued towards making their Table a 100% LMF.

3. AC Hari further thanked all Tables who took the initiative of the Area to make their respective Tables 100 % LMF facilitated through the contribution of Sq.Leg Arvind Swami our Areas Brand Ambassadors contribution.

Sergeants Time :

Chairman of 30 Tr.Sanjay the sergeant went berserk fining people with loads of humour and collected a record collection of a whopping Rs.30,000 which may be highest ever fine collected in the history of an AEX in Area 2 :)
