30HK, HL/HR, HS liquid chillers are suitable for use in chilledwater air conditioning systems and for various process coolingapplications, They aié quiet, reliable and easy to service. Eventhe large capacity multiple-compressor units will pass throughstandard doonvays.30HK and 30HR units are fitted with coolers, condensers,comprcssors, controls and interconnecting piping and wiring.They are shipped fully charged.30HL and HS units are supplied without condensers, and witha refrigerant holding charge. They can be adapted to systemswhich include remote air-cooled, water-cooled or evaporativecondensers. Models 018-036 have one refrigerant circuit; allothers have two independent circuits.

Carrier chillers for special applicationsMatry options are available to adapt 30H Series chillers forspecial applications.For heat reclaim heavy duty compÍessors allow higher con-denser leaving water temperatures (30H-W Series).

30H-Ychillers have heavy-duty compressors, and special heatreclaim condensers each with two separate circuits on the waterside are also offered. One side is connected to a heating circuit,the other to a cooling tower. Lower capacity machines have onerefrigerant circuit; others have two refrigerant circuits.High capacity 30H-DB chillers have separate condenser sec-tions with four heat exchangers (two peirefrigerant circuit). Inthese the heating and the cooling tower circuits have separateheat exchangers. This permits either packaged or remoie instal-Iation of the condenser. 30H-DB machines have heavy-dutycompressors.

A comprehensive range of factory supplied options adapts stan-dard chillers for:- Brine cooling down to -20oC- Operation with different refrigerants (R-12, R-500, R-502)- Tropical applications- Heat exchangers made of special metals

(e.g. CuÀti 90/10 etc.)- Two-pass condensers- Special power supplies- Flotronic electronically controlled expansion valve.
