Permanent Film or AdhesiveA film with an adhesive that is difficult to remove even with heat, chemicals or accessories; leaves more than 30 percent adhesive residue; and can damage the substrate when removed after application.

Removable FilmA film that, within a given time period, can be removed with little or no adhesive residue; depending on the film, removal may require heat, chemicals and/or accessories; does not damage a sound substrate when removed after application.

Changeable FilmA film that can be removed without heat, chemicals or accessories; leaves no adhesive residue; does not damage a sound substrate when removed after applications.

Conformable FilmA flexible film designed to conform to simple compound curves.

Perforated FilmA printable film with a grid of small holes that allows an image to be seen on one side but allows a viewer to see through the film from the other side.

Pressure-activated AdhesiveAn adhesive that is positionable until moderate pressure bonds it to the substrate.

Pressure-sensitive AdhesiveAn adhesive that bonds to a substrate with light pressure.
