IKOYI_DRIVE DOWNTILT_3G report was done on 20TH FEBUARY, 2015

Data was collected using TEMs investigation 9.1 with MS1 on 3G(Idle mode), MS2 on 3G(Dedicated mode) and MS3 on Data.

In this report, GSM RAN performance are described according to different RF measurements, MS Rx-Level / UE RSCP, MS Rx-Quality / UE Ec/No, HSDPA Throughput, RAN KPI’s like CDR (Dropped Calls) and Blocked Calls.

EVENT: Dropped call

Observation: Dropped call/quality on LG4836V due to SHO failure, and suspected feeder swap .Recommendation/Action taken: Rigger should audit site ULG4836 to confirm feeder swap, and correct.

Observation: Dropped call from 11GB due to poor EcNo .Recommendation/Action taken: Improve on Quality around event area.

3G OBSERVATION AND RECOMMENDATION

OBSERVATION:

MTN 3G downlink General coverage and quality drive was improved during post drive test.

Generally, Site U0011, U0756, and U0180 were not overshooting during time of D.T .

HSDPA throughput was improved during post drive, from the plot

Suspected swap was observed on ULG4836U.

RECOMMENDATION:

Rigger to carry out audit on ULG4836U for suspected swap correction.
