3D Printed Robotic Glove
• Open source design for use in rehabilitation therapy for individuals with limited hand motor function.
• Retrains the muscles and neural pathways in the forearm and hand by inducing or augmenting natural motion.
• Two modes of operation: Pre programmed movements and motion augmentation
Design Constraints
• All parts must be 3d printable or easily available through vendors
• Glove must be easy to assemble
• Compact, lightweight, portable
• Battery powered with capacity for operation > 2 hours
To-do
• Create algorithm for motion control: adjust fingers individually and simultaneously
• Interface with various sensors• Interface with mobile device via bluetooth• Create database to store calibration settings and
therapy programs
