Quick Start Guide
1. Introduction This Quick Start Guide provides an introduction to working with the 3D graphics within AudaGraphics,
which is hosted within the AudaEnterpriseGold system. This guide assumes experience with
AudaEnterpriseGold application and general use of Microsoft Window applications.
2. Getting Started
2.1 Opening AudaGraphics
1. From the Assessment Job Log, click the Repair Details (AudaGraphics) icon to navigate directly to
repair operations for the assessment.

AudaGraphics will be launched in the default 2D view.

3. Selecting and Navigating in 3D Graphics
If you have AudaEnterpriseGold v3.7 installed and the 3D model data is available for your chosen model,
then a cube icon will be active and appear in the toolbar located at the top of the screen.
However, if the 3D model data does not exist for your chosen model, the cube icon will be inactive and
greyed out in the toolbar.
Note: 3D models will continue to be released progressively over future data releases. This information will
be available via the Audatex website.
1. Click on the cube icon.
The graphical view will switch from 2D view to 3D view.
2. Click on the cube icon again and you are returned to the 2D view.
You can toggle on the cube icon and this will switch between 2D view and 3D view.
Note:
All repair operations available in the 2D view will be available in the 3D view.
Repair operations selected within the 2D view will be retained when you switch to the 3D view
and vice versa.

3. Click on the required area of the vehicle to access the zone details.
The selected zone will appear.
The general navigation within 3D graphics is similar to the navigation in 2D graphics. However, there
are a few additional controls to rotate parts, zoom in/out of parts and select and view individual parts.

3.1 3D Graphic Controls
There are a number of 3D graphic buttons located to the top right of the screen when you have selected a
zone.
3.1.1 3D Graphic Buttons

Rotate the top of the graphic away from you
Rotate the right side of the graphic away from you (counter-clockwise)
Rotate the bottom of the graphic away from you
Rotate the left side of the graphic away from you (clockwise)

3.1.2 Rotating Areas of the Vehicle
1. Click on any of the arrow buttons on the 4 viewpoint icon to rotate the graphic in a horizontal or
vertical plane.
This will allow areas of the vehicle to be viewed from different angles. For example, you can rotate an
area, so you are able to look at the area from underneath the vehicle.
2. Click the middle button on the 4 viewpoint icon to restore the graphic to its original
view.
3.1.3 Zooming In/Out to View Areas of the Vehicle
1. Click the Zoom In button to get a close up view of the graphic and make it easier to locate
certain parts.
2. Click the Zoom Out button to see more of the graphic.
3. Click the middle button on the 4 viewpoint icon to restore the graphic to its original
view.

3.1.4 Selecting and Viewing Individual Parts
1. Hover the mouse over an individual part on the graphic. The individual part will be highlighted along with any related generated parts and/or bonding kits.
2. To isolate and enlarge an individual part into a full view, you have 2 options to select and view the
individual part:
Double click on the part you require from the graphic
or
Click on the part you require and an additional button will become available for selection. Click on
the View Individual Part button .

3. Once the individual part has been selected, the other 3D buttons are still available, but only
applicable to the selected individual part rather than the whole graphic.
4. Click the middle button on the 4 viewpoint icon to restore to the original graphic.

3.2 Rotating Parts Using Mouse Buttons
1. Click and hold down the left mouse button, and then drag the mouse cursor on the screen to rotate
the graphic in any direction.
This will rotate the entire graphic to display the set of parts from another angle. Parts can be rotated
360 degrees around each axis.
For example, by clicking and dragging from the top of the screen to the bottom will rotate the
graphics, so you will be able to see the graphics from above (whereby you will be looking down on the
vehicle).

2. Click and hold down both the left and right mouse buttons, and then move the mouse cursor on the
screen to allow all parts to be maintained in the same angle of view

This is useful when you are zooming into an area and the part is out of the visible area of the screen.

4.1 Minimum Specification for running Global Claims Centre/AudaEnterpriseGold
For 3D graphics, there is a minimum specification for the graphic card and a minimum PC specification. The minimum specification is located on the Audatex website as follows:

Hardware:
Pentium (4) 3.0 GHz (or equivalent AMD/Celeron processor)
1GB Ram (2GB RAM recommended when using Windows Vista/Windows 7)
10 GB free hard disk drive storage
DVD drive (for software installation)
Software:
Windows XP
Windows Vista*
Windows 7*
*Vista and Windows 7 64-bit are now fully supported with AudaEnterpriseGold version 3.5.18
onwards and GCC version 2.0 onwards.
Please note: GCC/AudaEnterpriseGold can be installed on any tablet computer as long as it uses
one of the above Windows operating systems.
Connectivity:
512 download, 256 upload (minimum). Must be a permanent ADSL or equivalent service**
**Global Claims Centre/AudaEnterpriseGold requires a method of connectivity to the internet. This could be ADSL, SDSL or for high volume for multi site operations, could extend to MPLS or a dedicated TCP/IP Connection. Your choice of connectivity will depend upon how business critical the Global Claims Centre solution is to your organisation and should be made in association with your IT department and / or provider.
