Hello Everyone, Today we celebrate Mother’s Day. Mother’s Day has always been one of my favorite days of the year. A day in which we give THANKS for our Mothers. This will be my first Mother’s Day without my Mother. Oh, how I miss my Mom. But I give THANKS to God for the gift of my Mother. She was my rock, my everything. Happy Mother’s Day Mom! And A Very Happy Mother’s Day to all our Mothers. If and when we are allowed to have Mass again there will be somethings that we will have to put in place for everyone to follow. Once we get these guidelines we will let everyone know them. I ask that everyone continue to follow the guidelines that are in place at this time. I want to say Thanks to those who have been able to continue with their contributions to church. We are holding our own at this present time. You may drop your contribution at the office or mail it in, whatever is best for you. If you would like to be on the Parish Council please give me a call and let me know. I invite families to make May Altars for Mary during this month of May. I encourage families to pray the Rosary this month of May as well. Until we meet again! Much Love and Prayers Fr. Tony

All-loving God, We give you thanks and praise

For mothers young and old.

We pray for young mothers, Who give life and count toes And tend to our every need;

May they be blessed with patience and tenderness To care for their families and themselves

With great joy.

We pray for our own mothers Who have nurtured and cared for us;

May they continue to guide In strong and gentle ways.

We remember mothers who are separated

From their children because of war, Poverty or conflict;

May they feel the loving embrace of Our God who wipes every tear away.

We pray for women who are not mothers

But still love and shape us With motherly care and compassion

We remember mothers, grandmothers & great grandmothers

Who are no longer with us But who live forever in our memory

And nourish us with their love. Amen
