Jayne Dullard is a former journalist and issues management consultant who joined The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) as Executive Director Communications in 2012.
In 2013 she launched the Melbourne hospital’s social media footprint, which has helped make the RCH the second most visited digital health service in the world, after the Mayo Clinic in the US. Using social media to discuss hospital operational challenges with health consumers, and more pertinently to celebrate clinical successes and outstanding individual achievements by RCH clinicians.
Jayne has helped to build a new internal information-sharing culture which contributes directly to the provision of quality healthcare to patients and their families.

Doug King BN PhD is the lead Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Emergency Department at Hutt Valley District Health Board in New Zealand. Helping to build a team of CNS’s in the Emergency Department, Doug has been involved in driving through the changes required for the implementation of nurse lead management of specific injuries presenting to the Emergency Department. The implementation of the Minor Injuries clinic has seen a reduction in the triage to discharge time of patients traditionally left waiting in the ED environment.
