Pontomodel makes every effort to see to it that our customers are satisfied. If you have product suggestions or if there is a particular product of dry transfer you would like to suggest we carry, please feel free to contact us.
For better information or corrections, we upfate this manual on our website.
Directions for Wooden Deck Use
Thank you for choosing our product. It is a wooden deck produced by laser cutting technology. For protection of the surface and reproduction of the authentic wooden deck colour, all our decks are stained.
Our decks are thin wooden sheets, designed to give finer cut lines using lower laser power. As a result, some cut lines may be slightly difficult to peel off from the clear backing film. For easier separation of the wooden parts from the backing sheet, please use a cutter or modeling knife.
If you fail to fit the deck to the kit first time, please do not be frustrated. Carefully try again, and in the case of incorrect positioning, remove the deck and re-attach using a knife and tweezers, step by step. Even in the case of torn wooden parts, you can re-apply the torn parts separately, one by one, like real deck planks.
After applying dry transfers (where applicable), a thin coat of clear lacquer or water-based clear acrylic should be applied to seal and protect the transfer. A little instant glue can also be applied for additional adhesion.
We have tried to supply a product that fits well to your kit. Please note that as a result of our researching the real ship, there may be some shapes and arrangements that differ from the base kit. If you have any suggestions to help with our research and improve our products, please feel free to contact us anytime.
