Specifications T-Bird ™ Series

T-Bird™ FULL- or PART-CIRCLE Pop-Up RotorThe full- or part-circle pop-up rotor sprinklershall be a single-stream, water-lubricated, geardrive type, capable of covering a ___ foot(meter) radius at ___ pounds per square inch(psi) or (Bars) with a discharge rate of ___gallons per minute (GPM) or (l/s; m3/h). Thepart-circle sprinkler shall have adjustable arccoverage from 30 to 350 degrees.

The sprinkler shall have a thread-on nozzleassembly whose installation shall not requireany tools.

Additionally, arc adjustment shall not requireany tools.

The sprinkler shall have a pressure-activated,multi-function wiper seal that positively sealsagainst the nozzle flange to keep debris out ofthe rotor and to clean debris from the pop-upstem as it retracts. This wiper seal shallprevent sprinkler from sticking up, and becapable of sealing the sprinkler cap to sprinklerbody under normal operating pressures.

The sprinkler shall have a screen attached tothe drive housing to filter inlet water, protectthe drive from clogging and simplify itsremoval for cleaning and flushing of thesystem. It shall have a 3/4” (20/27) (FNPT)bottom inlet.

The sprinkler shall have a strong, stainlesssteel retract spring for positive pop-down andbe constructed of a heavy-duty, UV-resistantmaterial. Pop-up height as measured from thetop of the cap at normal installation to themiddle of the nozzle orifice shall be ___ inchesor (cm).

The sprinkler shall have a choice of 5 nozzleturrets: T-22, T-30, T-40, T-TREE, and T-RC-TREE. Both the T-22 and T-30 nozzle turretsshall offer 6 pressure-compensating, matchedprecipitation rate (MPR) color-coded nozzles.The T-40 nozzle turret shall offer 11interchangable nozzles: 5 Radius+ MPR color-coded nozzles for maximum throw and 6 Rain Curtain™ MPR color-coded nozzles forsuperior close-in watering. The T-TREE and T-RC-TREE turrets shall offer a nozzle treewith six low and six standard angle nozzles.The T-RC-TREE shall offer an integral rubbercover. All nozzles shall come with a stainlesssteel adjusting screw capable of reducing theradius up to 25%.

In addition, the three nozzle turrets (T-22, T-30, and T-40) shall come equipped with alocking screw to further reduce vandalism.

The sprinkler shall have a “Vandal Collar”which prevents tampering with arc setting.

One shall engage with theriser assembly from the sprinkler base. Theother shall engage the body assembly from thesprinkler base. The combination of the twoshall provide increased protection againstvandalism when properly installed.

Optional Feature Specifications

When so indicated on the design, the full- orpart-circle, commercial version rotor sprinklershall have all the specifications of the standardversion with a Seal-A-Matic™ (SAM) checkvalve to prevent low-head drainage forelevation differences up to 7 feet (2,1 m). Thisrotor shall have a vandal-resistant, stainlesssteel locking set screw to secure cover to body.
