ConceptOur SN or S1N inductive sensors, when combined with

a suitable control unit, will provide a de ned outputsignal in the event a system component fails. Therefore,sensors have long been used to meet functional safetyrequirements in mechanical engineering as well as inprocess industry applications.

Test reports from the TÜV according to VDE 0660/209 andEN 954, and the values described in the IEC 61508(failure rate, Safe Failure Fraction SFF, etc) are availableupon request.

These sensors allow the implementation of single-channelapplications up to SIL 2 (when using a standard NAMURcontrol circuit) or up to SIL 3 (when using a suitablecontrol unit such as the KFD2-SH-Ex1).

Sensors based on NAMUR interface are available incylindrical, rectangular, and slot style.
