The 3258 is a low profile, severe duty, high
production portable plant designed for ease of
travel and safe operation. Equipped with a 3258
Hydraulic Jaw Crusher and 60” x 20’ Grizzly
Feeder, the plant is ideally suited for crushing
hard quarried stone or demolition debris.
The Telsmith designed and manufactured
chassis is built to withstand the rigors of
portable operation. Folding support legs
and operator’s platform, along with optional
hydraulic leveling systems, allow for quick
mobilization. The low profile 13’-6 travel height
and maximum width of 9’-11” simplifies moving
between sites. Large service platforms provide
good work areas for safe maintenance.
The advanced 3258 jaw crusher with hydraulic
adjustment and overload relief is at the heart of
the plant’s production capability. Combining a
32” gape and 58” width with low nip angles, it
out-produces other crushers in its class. Finger
tip controlled hydraulic adjustment reduces
maintenance time, and the hydraulic overload
relief system automatically protects the crusher
from tramp metal.
A heavy duty 60” wide X 20’ long grizzly feeder
controls the feed to the crusher. Arranged into a
skid module that includes the feed hopper, by-
pass chute and feeder drive, the entire module
can be slid off the back of the plant, simplifying
travel in severely weight-restricted areas.
For portable plant operators who demand

to deliver consistent performance.

The model 3258 jaw crusher offers state of the art crushing technology with hydraulic adjustment and overload protection.
Massive hydraulic cylinders adjust the crusher using push button controls. Hydraulic tension cylinders eliminate the need for spring adjustment so you are up and running in seconds.
A heavy duty 60” x 20’ vibrating grizzly feeder controls the feed to the crusher. Variable speed options are available.
The feeder is built into a skid module incorporating the feeder, loading hopper and grizzly by pass chute. The entire module can be removed as one unit,
sliding off the back of the plant, easing travel in severely weight-restricted areas.
The loading hopper and by pass chute are built from abrasion resistant high alloy steel providing longer wear life.

A hydraulic relief system protects the 3258 from tramp iron. The system allows the crusher to operate safely at tight settings and automatically opens up to allow tramp metal to pass.

plant power options:
Electric: Electric drive options incorporate an elevated motor mount for optimum maintenance access behind the jaw.
Diesel: Diesel drive options incorporate a hydraulic belt tensioner and hydraulically activated clutch. Push button controls engage the clutch automatically. The belt tensioner eliminates routine belt maintenance.
