Root barriers prevent root penetration into the waterproof membrane. Dependent on the roof membrane and types of plant materials chosen for a project, we provide a range of materials that can be used as a root barrier. We off er LLDPE, HDPE and PVC Root Barriers, each with its own specifi c applications.

Material Thickness:• 0.02”
Roll Weight:• 0.10 lbs. / ft2
Materials:• Recycled LLDPE
Tensile Strength:• 70 lbs. / in
Vegetated Roofi ng Use:• Extensive with plant materials with fi brous root systems only
HG 3210
directs root growth away from waterproofi ng membrane, preventing it from root damage
provides excellent protection from UV exposure and harsh weather conditions
features a high tensile strength, high puncture and tear resistance, and excellent chemical resistance
withstands moderate construction traffi c
requires a maintenance plan to prevent tree seedlings from germinating. Tree seedlings and other woody plant’s root systems could penetrate this root barrier
