    1. Turn off power and gas supply to machine.

NOTE: The building gas supply may need to bedisconnected if a shut-off valve does not existbeyond the rear entrance pipe nipple within thebuilding.

    2. Disconnect wiring to diode logic board, glow barigniter and gas valve. Refer to Figure 1.

    3. Remove diode logic board, glow bar igniter andgas valve.

    4. Install M414578 or M414579 Gas ValveAssembly provided in kit.

NOTE: A separate shut-off valve is no longernecessary because the new gas valve has its ownshut-off. Replace or discard shut-off valve after newgas valve is installed.

    5. Install M406936 Mounting Bracket using two430497 screws. Refer to Figure 2.

    6. Mount igniter using two 51782 screws. Refer toFigure 2.

    7. Drill two 1/8 inch holes for mounting ignitioncontrol to the upper right of the stove assembly.

Refer to Figure 2.8. Mount M406789P Ignition Control Board using

two 39397 screws. Refer to Figure 2.

    9. Connect M406880 Wiring Harness Assembly toignition control board. Refer to Figure 2.

    10. Connect MV black wire to gas valve terminal 2.Refer to label on ignition control board forlocation of wire. This wire, V2 wire in step 10 andhigh voltage lead in step 14 will have to be fed

through the hole in the partition between the stoveassembly and where the ignition control ismounted. Refer to Figure 2.

    11. Connect V2 white wire to gas valve terminal 1.

    12. Connect L2 white wire to transformer secondarywhite wire, if present, or to the L2 wire from thediode logic board. May need to use 21091Connector. Refer to Figure 3.

    13. Connect L1 blue wire to adjustable thermostat.Refer to Figure 3.

    14. Connect B/G green wire to ground.

    15. Connect M406881 High Voltage Lead fromigniter to ignition control board.
