Whenhe reached the tree, he saw that his shot had been accurate, as the piece o bark he had previously drawn acrossonwithawhiterockhadbeenshattered.However,hisarrowhadfailedtopenetratethetrunk.Onceagain, Cocijo heard the disapproving voice o his training master in his head: The boy has the eye of an eagle,but the arm of a child.

    As Cocijo shook his head and struggled helplessly against his captors, he spotted two curved horns the sizeo kapok trees rising rom the water. As his eyes widened in terror, the head o a squid about the size o asmallmountainrearedupfromthesea.Sevencolossaltentaclesbreachedthesurfaceandbeganailinginevery direction as the kraken opened a mouth large enough to swallow a tiger shark whole, spraying Cocijoull in the ace with its horric, briny breath.

    For us to lay down our tridents, the Gar leader said with a grin, your clan chie promised us a meal.TheescortsholdingCocijoliftedhimotheplatform,andwithasingleheave,hurledhim,shrieking,intothe krakens maw.

    CombatPhasePart1:ChoosinganEncounterorSkipCombat

    Basedonthecardsinyourhand(includingthetwocardsyouturnedupfromtheActiondecks),youdecideifyou want to enter combat.
