Friday night, was movie night for a staggering 35heads

BONDING WITH

HAPPY BIRTHDAY OUR FIRST LADY

A Grand diwali fellowship was organized and we thank BHAVNA AND VIRENDAR ARYA, to host it at their place.With an astounding no of 38 heads attending, this surely was a grand diwali night with a full house. Guys looking dapper and Girls looking beautiful in Indian wear being the dress code of the night

Beautiful weather, cool breeze, great place..what else could the tablers of 30 ask, for a casual get-together

The occasion was of, one of the tabler`s brother wedding reception. All the tablers & circlers were present to grace the occasion and give their best wishes to the couple. After the reception an impromptu plan to party at, chipstead was made and around 20 heads went ahead to start the weekend on high!

FR SUCCESS PARTY�

What is success without celebration! With around 30 heads, we made sure, that we bring the place down hard. Champagne over-flowing, delectable food, crazy guys and beautiful ladies. It was a grand night of revelry and enjoyment till the end.

FARHAN AKHTAR A true Rockstar in every way, FARHAN AKHTAR, singing live in Chennai was something not less than a spectacle.

On 14th dec, he made the crowd groove and move with some of his best songs, & mesmerized people with his

husky voice.

Having that in mind, a fellowship was organized for table 30 families and they were present in good numbers at FUNCITY, EXPRESS AVENUE MALL.

SUNDAY…IS FOR FAMILY AND FAMILY MEANS FUN.

JINGLE BELLS… �JINGLE BELLS…..�

Its Xmas eve, and the family of MERT30 planned to meet for a get together for a XMAS EVE DINNER. With around 10heads, catching up at THE GREAT KABAB FACTORY, for some hot-piping food, appetizing kebabs and mouth-watering desserts.

6 KA DUM!!!! �

Organized by 6 tables, Table 30 / 39 /100/ 159 / 162 and 181 Saw 165 heads attending the event. Cricket / Volley / Throw ball with some amazing food and to top it all brilliant weather. What more could we had asked for. Twinklers / Circlers / Tablers / HT’s had a great time with some amazing fellowship.

superhero movie TWINKLERS � KRISSH -3�

“ALADDIN, the musical”, a joint twinklers event by Area II was attended by 19 heads from MERT 30 including 11 twinklers at Lady Andal Auditorium on Saturday, 9th November 2013.

The event was followed by a fellowship dinner at Mainland China.

Has asked 30 to find 30 students or give away up to USD $10,000 per year as scholarship for deserving kids.

A "HEALTH"Y START: We started our project week with a Joint project with RT 95, where we sponsored 35 patient's dialysis. Amount Spent : Rs. 10,500 | No. of People Benefitted : 35 no.s

A SHOWER OF BLESSINGS: Little Sisters of the Poor is a old age home where the inmates are mostly above 60 years of age. We had the privilege to take look at the infrastructure and donated 2 Geysers ( 15 ltr & 10 ltr) and a stock of Adult Diapers & Sanitary Pads for a month. Amount Spent : Rs. 18310 | No. of People Benefitted : 120 no.s

LITTLE STARS - TAARE ZAMEEN PAR N MORE Children at Giriappa Tuition Centre were kept busy with Competitions - Speech ( English, Tamil), Singing ( English, Tamil), Dance and Drawing. Amount Spent : Rs.4200 | No. of People Benefitted : 50 no.s

A "WARM" GESTURE: A full day eye camp for 112 old and mentally inmates. MERT 30 donated 115 blankets to the inmates. Amount Spent : Rs. 13800 No. of People Benefitted : 115 no.s

A NUTRITIVE THOUGHT: Manasa is a home for the mentally challenged. MERT 30 Jointly with MART 100 donated groceries - a month's supply - at the centre. Amount Spent : Rs. 10000 No. of People Benefitted : 75 no.s

CHILD CARE: Karunaprayag is primarily an adoption centre with kids as young as 6 months to 6 years of age. MERT 30 contributed towards their need for Lactogen & Groceries for a month. Amount Spent : Rs. 10000 / No. of children benefitted : 25 no.s

AN EYE FOR AN EYE: National federation of the blind are creating their first Braille Telephone Directory. MERT 30 contributed Rs. 10000 towards the directory. A noteworthy mention here would be the fact that the picture of the project was taken by a blind lady, Amount Spent : Rs. 10000 No. of people benefitted : 3500 no.s

A SCHOOL IN NEED: JRET School for girls required basic furniture and sports equipment. LC 10, RT 30 & RT 100 jointly donated towards the same. Total Amt Spent : Rs. 33298 / No. of children benefitted : 400 no.s

MEDICAL AID: MERT30 contributed towards sponsoring of medicines to Sanjeevani Amt Spent : Rs. 20,000 / No. of people benefitted : 200 no.s

HAPPY CHILDREN: The occasion was children's day and it was a delight to see smiles on the faces of the children at our Kamaraj Colony Tution centre after a lovely puppet show and a colouring contest was held for the children. Amount Spent : Rs. 5000/- No of children benefitted : 36

FREEDOM THROUGH EDUCATION: We had a request for tuition fees for three students from gracious homes. Amount Spent : Rs. 53200/- | No of students benefitted : 3

DIWALI PROJECT�

FESTIVAL of lights : �No better way to celebrate this light festival than seeing the glow in the eyes of the special children. With 10 if us being there & bursting crackers & lighting up the whole place of

“Guild Of Service” with these kids was pure FUN.

Inaugurated on 17th oct, 2013 by Area Projects Convener Tr Kavalpreet Singh Sethi & MERT 30 Chairman Tr Sanjay Goel. Costed Rs 3.50 Lakhs to build Donate by MERT 30 and RTIT Grant Will benefit about 1200 kids

•  We also rasied Rs.2lks towards classroom @ VES school.

•  The Family Business Conference:This year on Nov23rd 2013,Madras Esplanade Round Table 30 once again organized a one day conference titled 'RT30 - CBS 4th Conference on Family Business'. The event was the 4th in the series of such conferences organised by RT 30. The conference was inaugurated by Mr. Arvind Swamy, Tr. Sanjay Goel – Chairman, RT 30, Tr. Gautam Garg – Convener – Fund Raising & Mr J N Amrolia, of the Chennai Business School. The event was followed by a two hour speech by Swami Sukhbhodananda.

•  Mr.Hari Mohinani donated 76lakhs for the construction of the 2nd Block of the new class rooms and Sasha Mohinanai School. And also another 10000$ a year (Rs.6lks) as sponsorship towards Scholarship.
