Our belief
Who we are?
A child is on the streets not by choice but by
compulsion. Push and pull factors like poverty,
urbanization, abusive environment, aspirations are responsible for their
condition

Who we are?
CHETNA has developed a participatory approach in which children are the protagonists of their learning process. Through education, recreational activities, counseling and collective projects children themselves develop an understanding of their rights and opportunities. Our programmes have been designed in a manner to match their needs and their perceptions. Correspondingly CHETNA acts as a channel to sensitize stakeholders in order to involve the entire community in our projects.
Our approach

activities of CHETNA base on their needs and perception.
With us, children are the protagonist, and we are the
catalysts
